3 springers today in linn pool

Harry and John Collins were successful today landing 3 fresh fish between them. It has been a frustrating week on the river with high water causing havoc once again. Today was our first outing and Harry didn't take long to open the card with a cracking long tailed liced fish around 14lb in the bay. Later in the morning Harry got another sealiced 10lber from the little Bellymore. In the afternoon John landed a hard fighting 16lb hooked on a harled kynoch. Great to be out on the water again and Feb finished on an outstanding 17 spring salmon. Tight lines.

15lb beauty for Chris Davidson

Chris finally broke his duck and landed his first Tay spring salmon. And what a cracker to get as his first. The river was 10ft on the gauge today but clearing after dirty spate yesterday. Chris hooked his prize in the Linn pool on a copper salmo and landed it after an exciting and acrobatic fight. The fish was released after a quick photo. Well done Chris and tight lines for the rest of the season.

Linn pool produces another great February day

Today it was the turn of Colin and Glenny to enjoy a fantastic mornings sport in the famous Linn pool. Colin landed 2 cracking springers in the bay before the boat was even set up. 12lb and 7lb respectively. Along with a big kelt it was a frantic first half hour of sport. Not to be beaten Glenny ended the morning session landing a stunning 15lb spring fish and another good kelt. In the afternoon another fish was lost at the bank after a dramatic fight. Well done lads and tight lines.

It was an amazing start to the week for Stewart Voce !! Fishing in the Linn pool Stewart landed 4 absolute spanking spring salmon weighing 8,10,12&13lb the 1st was hooked before we had the boat ready !! A truly memorable and glorious day on the river !! Well done and c,mon the fish !!!
